Apple開始調查iPhone 3G執行iOS4 緩慢問題。

根據WSJ的報導，由於有部分消費者反應iOS4在iPhone 3G / iPod touch 2G 等比較早期的硬體上運作時，會有系統速度緩慢、耗電量增大、機身過熱等問題，目前Apple已經對此問題展開調查。

目前暫時的解決方法，是將Spotlight搜尋的搜尋項目全數關閉（設定>一般>主畫面按鈕>Spotlight搜尋），或是按住電源紐不放直到強制關機後，再重新開機讓iOS自動做最佳化的動作。不過這兩種方法不見得對每個人都有效。

而根據TNW Apple的消息，iOS 4.1 beta 目前已經對此問題有所改善。
