Jobs 對 iPhone 4 收訊問題的回信：那就別那樣拿手機！（+Apple官方回應）

現在iPhone 4 最熱門的問題就是神奇的天線設計，目前似乎已經確定死穴是在左下角的金屬邊框（=天線）部分，當然這次也有人寫信去問了Steve Jobs大神，原文如下：

Hi Mr. Jobs,

I love my new iPhone 4 (nice work) but when I put my hand one the steel bands I lost all reception. It appears to be a common issue. Any plans to fix this?

Just avoid holding it in that way.

當然，目前Apple官方也給出了比較詳細的解釋....

Gripping any mobile phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance, with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas. This is a fact of life for every wireless phone. If you ever experience this on your iPhone 4, avoid gripping it in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band, or simply use one of many available cases.



握住任何手機都會導致天線效能降低，降低的程度取決於天線的位置。這是所有無線電話都有的問題。如果您在iPhone 4 上發生這這種狀況，請避免握住左下角金屬邊框黑縫的兩端，或是使用眾多可選購保護殼的其中之一。

果然官方也是叫大家去用保護殼/保護套啊，難怪這次Apple自己出了個Bumper....Orz。雖然Apple的確是很喜歡把這種工程極限用到產品上，不過這次似乎已經超越用戶的極限了...？



不過這其實跟網路媒體報導也是有很大的關聯，似乎之前因為iPhone 4測試機流出事件被抄家的GIZMODO，這次在iPhone 4的問題（螢幕黃斑/收訊）報導上好像比平常來的更賣力？是我的錯覺嗎？
